Cradle in the sky; East meets West.

Clouds on high; the seas rise,

A tide comes from out-the-future.

A song arises on the clouds,

Unfurled amidst the coming storm.

Gray on red on black all swirling,

Cradle rocks, but I don’t stir.

Every eye ‘already seen Him,

And I’m at home in my cradle-on-the-wind.

Gentle my soul in the dark of the night.

I’ll sleep in the crest of your arm, no fright.

The waters may rise, the buildings may fall,

The Earth may shatter in a trillion

Particles, jagged

And whirl into space,

But you and I will find our place,

Our safe, our embrace,

Tucked inbetween a moon and a star,

Quieted by comets, aglow from afar.

Syncopated sounds, rap star grieves

Gulp a coke, snort some white.

My bling is heavy, my Porshe aight.

What’s the meaning? All this trip?

Why am I doin all of this?

Who’s the Man, now I’m rich?

Words are spittin, rappin, fallin

I’ve gotta keep up or else I’m stallin

I need a floor under my feet

To pop-lock, DJ Mix

And never stop

Who’s to show me what is what?

Words are fallin, spittin-up

Life is gnawin in my gut

“Can’t somebody shut-up!”

I need a Source, the lyric is grindin

The meaning is missin or else it’s blinded,

My words from the street,

Don’t tell my mama,

Trash-talk from out back,

Don’t call it Black.

Somebody help me!

Can’t find the door,

The track is playin,

Don’t play me more!

I can’t see straight!

Where’s the door?

I need the out.

Man, I wish someone show me how!

The message of Jesus Christ as the Source of Life and Truth and Salvation is the Answer we need to bring to the turmoil of this current culture.  Often those who are on the “top” leading our culture are lost themselves.  Let’s not have people who are “lost” leading our way!

avatar

i know who you are

but do the rest?

rest in your anonymity

it feels good to be

alone, apart, allowed to do

anything

do what you want

no consequences found

hidden behind you

i can be all that i can be

who will see?

repeat with me:

I am who I am

will see

does see

you are free

when you rest

in the truth

not a lie

“avatar

i know who you are.”
